Installation
Horizontal Rod Rack
​
You will need the following tools:
1200mm level
Cordless drill
5mm drill bit
13mm ring spanner
Stud finder
Measuring tape
Masking tape and Pencil
Masonary Drill and 10mm Bit if mounting to Brickwork
STEP 1

Locate timber wall framing using a stud finder

You'll need two studs approximately 1200mm to 1350mm apart

Mark height 100mm down from where you want the top of the Rodrack to finish

Ensure clearance of approximatley 900mm from a corner of the room

STEP 2

Drill 5mm pilot hole in centre of timber stud approx 60mm deep and install hanging bolt

Ensure 35mm of hanging bolt protudes from the wall

If mounting to brick wall, Drill a 10mm hole and insert the orange rawl plugs supplied
​STEP 3

Slide Rod Rack over hanging bolt and install fixing washer and nut
​STEP 4

Plumb Rod Rack with a level and fix bottom through the lowest rod hole. Do not overtighten
​STEP 5
-
Repeat process for the second rack
-
Tighten fixing nut and with a 13mm socket or ring spanner
​STEP 6
-
Place Rods in Rod Rack
