Installation
Vertical Rod Rack
You will need the following tools:
1200mm level
Cordless drill
5mm drill bit
8mm drill bit
13mm ring spanner
Stud finder
Measuring tape
Masking tape and pencil
Masonary drill and 10mm bit if fixing to brickwork
​STEP 1

Locate timber wall framing using a stud finder

You'll need two studs approximately 450mm to 600mm apart

Mark height of top rack approximately 1400 from the floor

Mark height of bottom rack approximately 300mm from the floor

Ensure marks are level

​STEP 2
-
Drill 5mm pilot hole in centre of timber stud approx 60mm deep and install hanging bolt

Ensure 35mm of hanging bolt protrudes from the wall

If fixing to brickwork, drill a 10mm hole and insert the orange rawl plug supplied
​STEP 3
-
Accurately mark the centre of the hanging bolts on the back edge of the Rod Rack
​STEP 4

Repeat for all four hanging bolts
​STEP 5

Drill a 5mm pilot hole through the back of the Rod Rack - A straight edge on top helps ensure the hole is drilled straight
​STEP 6

Enlarge Pilot hole to 8mm
​STEP 7
-
Slide Rod Rack over hanging bolts and secure with flat washer and nut.
​STEP 8

Tighten nut with 13mm ring spanner
Place rods in Rod Rack
